Description

The monument consists of the remains of a Roman kiln. This kiln is the only pottery production site to be identified in the Caerleon area and produced the distinctive Caerleon Ware" used by the Legio II Augusta (Augustan Legion) at Caerleon and represents a particulary important discovery
