A Bronze Age disc or saucer barrow, listed by Grinsell as Durrington 39. Excavations by Colt Hoare in the early 19th century recovered a large urn but no interment. Cut by the Fargo Road on its northern side, the outer bank and ditch define an area of circa 117 feet (about 26 metres) in diameter. The central mound, which has been ploughed, is 0.4 metres high and merges imperceptibly into the ditch.
