Earthworks of a Bronze Age bowl barrow situated 300 metres southeast of Walker's Plantation on Broad Hinton Down. It was designated as Broad Hinton 1 by Grinsell (1957) and comprises a mound 10 metres in diameter and 0.3 metres high. Excavations by Canon Greenwell sometime between 1877 and 1889 located a primary cremation and dagger and a intrusive Saxon inhumation accompanied by a spearhead. The spearhead indicated an early-middle Saxon date for the burial.
