A possible Medieval or Post medieval sheep enclosure appears to sit over a prehistoric or Roman cross ridge dyke to the south of the neolithic long barrow called Adam's Grave (SU 16 SW 24). The linear earthwork, consists of a bank and ditch running for 250 metres; The enclosure is sub-rectangular and measures 70m by 45m. A circular mound, situated adajacent to the north corner of the enclosure, is probably the remains of a bowl barrow.
