Notes

Medieval motte and bailey castle, in quite good condition although both the motte and the bailey have been damaged by animal tread particularly the bailey. The Motte is 460 feet in circumference at the base and 198 feet at the top, with an escarpment of 50 feet slope at its highest. A probable entrance to the bailey exists to the north. Scheduled.
