Earthwork remains of a Medieval moat at Daffodil Wood. Field investigations in 1975 found it to be dry but in good condition. A retaining bank was found outside the southern arm. Another bank was outside the northern arm. It was believed that the site was used to house the menagerie of Chartley Castle.
