Most scheduled monuments are not occupied buildings and have no postal address or postcode of their own. In rural and coastal areas, the nearest geocodable postal address may be several miles away.

A windmill mound previously thought to be a barrow. Also thought to have been reused an Anglo Saxon hundred meeting place, based on conjectural evidence of placename evidence surrounding the name Thurestapel (Thunors Pillar) recorded in Doomsday, preserved as Thurstable Hundred (of which what is now Tollshunt Major was the centre) and the coincidence of there being a supposed barrow at the site.
