A round barrow, now extant as a vague rise circa 30 metres in diameter and up to 0.5 metres high. It was examined in April 1867 by Mortimer, who reported finding no trace of a burial. His search of the mound recovered some flint "splinters" and a flaked flint knife, as well as part of a polished axe (flint?). He also found many small potsherds, since identified as Beaker, which were "chiefly from the base of the barrow where wood ashes were rather abundant".
