A 19th century dovecote at Elm Tree Farm. The 2 storey building is of brick, with a pantiled roof and measures 5.6 metres by 4.6 metres. The ground floor would originally have functioned as a storage area and was later used as an animal shelter. The nest boxes occupy the upper floor. They line all 4 walls and are brick-built with pantiled internal divisions and brick alighting ledges. In the upper part of the south wall is an opening which served as a flight hole. Scheduled.
