The nearest postcode is an aid to location, and does not necessarily reflect the actual address of the monument. Most scheduled monuments are not occupied buildings and have no postal address or postcode of their own. In rural and coastal areas, the nearest geocodable postal address may be several miles away.
A trackway of uncertain date, but possibly medieval, is visible as a cropmark on air photographs. Its form is seen as a single ditched feature, running east-west, with a branch at its eastern end. It lies in the vicinity of a group of Roman camps, passing to the north of one of them (NY 32 NE 2) and lying almost parallel to the Roman road (RR 741). Another section of trackway to the west (NY 32 NE 13) may be a continuation of the same track.
