Notes

Two standing stones are visible at this reference. They are thought to be the remains of a possible stone row or stone setting and have been interpreted as being of prehistoric date. They are both composed of sandstone - the first at SS 74384 42099 is 0.30 high, 0.15m wide and 0.09m thick with a lean to the east and an erosion hollow. The second stone at SS 74389 42096 is 0.55m high, 0.25m wide and 0.20m deep. It also has an erosion hollow measuring 1.5m by 0.2m.
