Most scheduled monuments are not occupied buildings and have no postal address or postcode of their own. In rural and coastal areas, the nearest geocodable postal address may be several miles away.
A Bronze Age bowl barrow, part of a barrow group on Porton Down. The barrow was designated Idmiston 18 by Grinsell (1957) and survives as an earthwork. The barrow is flat topped and has a diameter of 30 metres and a height of 0.7 metres. The mound has been disturbed, probably the result of unrecorded antiquarian investigations.
