Four Bronze Age barrows, including two disc barrows and two bowl barrows, which form the western part of the Idmiston Down Barrow Cemetery (SU 23 NW 34). The cemetery comprises eight barrows and is situated at the base of a wide combe on Idmiston Down. The barrows were listed by Grinsell as Idmiston 1-4. One of the disc barrows was excavated by William Cunnington (Wessex Grave 62) locating cremations, pottery, an awl and amber beads. Field investigations in 1970 found the barrows visible as earthworks surviving to a height of 1 metre.
