Most scheduled monuments are not occupied buildings and have no postal address or postcode of their own. In rural and coastal areas, the nearest geocodable postal address may be several miles away.
A bowl barrow situated 750 metres north east of Newmead Cottages. The barrow, which lies on a south facing slope immediately below the crest of Brimsdown Hill, includes a mound 12 metres in diameter and 0.6 metres high. This is surrounded by a ditch from which material for its construction would have been quarried. This has become infilled but survives as a buried feature 2 metres wide. Scheduled.
