Anglo-Danish cross situated in Stanwick churchyard on the south side of the church. The monument includes the lower part of an Anglo-Danish cross shaft 0.7m high by 0.28m wide and 0.15m thick. This shaft is set into a base 0.57m long by 0.31m high and 0.53m wide and has vertical rectangular grooves 0.04m wide and 0.02m deep in the middle of the narrower sides. All four faces of the shaft are decorated with interlace and course leaf scroll which is now quite worn. The upper part of the cross which measures 0.8m in length survives built into the fabric of the adjacent church.
