The earthwork and buried remains of a bowl barrow, situated at the top of a natural knoll. The barrow includes an earthern mound which has been created by artificially steepening the sides of the knoll. The cropmark remains of this barrow were visible as a ring ditch with traces of a second inner ditch. Adjacent to this were the cropmark remains of a possible later Prehistoric enclosure. The site was mapped from aerial photographs as part of the RCHME: Marches Uplands Mapping Project.
