Medieval moated site. A raised central platform measuring 200 by 100m surrounded by an infilled ditch lies on gently undulating land. The site is an unusual elliptical shape and on the northern side of the site the ditch has been modified to form a farm pond. The platform is currently approached by a causeway at the north which is thought to be the original entrance. There is a slight earthwork bank crossing the width of the platform dividing it into two roughly equal enclosures. These features are visible as earthworks on air photographs.
