Most scheduled monuments are not occupied buildings and have no postal address or postcode of their own. In rural and coastal areas, the nearest geocodable postal address may be several miles away.
A large latin cross stands in the churchyard West of the church. It was placed in its present position by the Rev J E Carthew in the early 1900's. Langdon records seeing it lying on the ground in a field West of the church belonging to Highertown Farm, (SX170517). The original site is not known but Baird considers that it may possibly be where the old pathway from Lansallos to Lanteglos crosses the boundary (16755175). The cross is regarded by Henderson as 'clearly medieval', perhaps 13th century.
