An Anglo Saxon mixed inhumation and cremation cemetery situated on a hill overlooking Glynde Reach, 275 metres north of Comps Farm. Three burials within the cemetery have been excavated, with scattered groups of additional burials recorded to the north and south from a resistivity and magnetometer survey. The excavated burials includes a grave aligned northwest-southeast containing a female inhumation accompanied by grave goods including a metal alloy bowl or bucket, two saucer brooches, two silver girdle ornaments and an amber object. The second grave was aligned approximately north-south containing a possible male inhumation, accompanied by a shield boss, spear, knife and buckle. The grave goods indicate that these can be dated to the mid-fifth to mid sixth century. The third grave contained an inhumation aligned east-west which had been disturbed by two possible cremation burials. The grave fill contained a saucer brooch and a knife.
