Medieval homestead moat and two associated fishponds. The moated island has arms 100m except tfor the western arm which is 20m longer. The moat is 14-20m wide and up to 1.4m deep. The island contains undulations possibly representing the sites of buildings. To the east of the moat are two fishponds. The northern is 100m long and between 20-40m wide and water filled. The southern is similar in length but only 13m wide it is now dry and 1.2m deep. The two pods may have been joined by a broad leat or another pond. Undulations it the south of the ponds may represent outbuildings or garden features. This area is crossed by a later trackway which truncates the chanel conecting the ponds. Scheduled.
