Most scheduled monuments are not occupied buildings and have no postal address or postcode of their own. In rural and coastal areas, the nearest geocodable postal address may be several miles away.

A bowl barrow visible as a low earthwork in the undulating chalk downland of Rockley Down. The barrow mound was recorded in 1995 as having a diameter of 30 metres and a height of 1.3 metres. A hollow in the centre suggested that part excavation had taken place. In 1997 the barrow had a diameter of 22 metres and a height of 0.3 metres. Surrounding the mound and surviving as a buried feature is a 2 metre wide quarry ditch from which material was taken for the construction of the monument. Pottery found on the south and west sides of the mound has been dated by different sources to both the Middle Bronze Age and the Late Bronze Age. Scheduled.
