Moated site located in a small valley to the east of the present Blundeston Hall. The moat arms range in width from 10 metres to 14 metres on the west, south and east sides, narrowing to 8 metres on the north side. The moat is water-filled. The sub-rectangular central island has internal dimensions of approximately 80 metres NNE-SSW, by 36 metres at the southern end and 20 metres at the north. No building remains are visible. The site is identified with the medieval manor of Blundeston Hall, recorded from the early 13th century. Scheduled.
