Remains of a medieval and early post medieval settlement bordering the northern edge of the common at Summer End. The earthworks appear to represent the remains of a group of adjacent tofts and associated yards, gardens and paddocks, defined by partly infilled, intersecting ditches visible as shallow linear depressions. Five ditches run roughly parallel from edge of the common dividing the area into plots subdivided by shorter ditches into smaller enclosures which contained the houses, outbuildings and the associated gardens and paddocks. There are a number of building platforms visible, along with the remains of a pond. Scheduled.
