Intact World War II Type 22 pillbox located east of Walton Common. It is constructed from brick shuttering and has an entrance on the south west side and internal anti-ricochet wall. The pillbox formed part of the Eastern Command: II Corps B Line which ran from Southwold via Harleston on the Suffolk/Norfolk border through Attleborough, Watton and Swaffham in Norfolk and then continued on to King's Lynn. Originally there were gun emplacements to the south and north west of the pillbox which have now been levelled. Further north were 5 other emplacements and a possible searchlight battery. Scheduled.
