Bronze Age bowl barrow in Dixon's Covert, Culford Park. It has a diameter of 40 metres, and a height of 2.2 metres. Excavations in 1958 located the barrow ditch and found the core of the mound to be of a turf construction. Finds include flint flakes and Bronze Age and Roman pottery. The excavation also found a pit dug into the centre of the mound which is believed to be the result of a previous unrecorded excavation. A 5 metre wide depression on the south west side is thought to be the result of military activity between 1916 and 1917. Scheduled.
