A prehistoric cross dyke with a bank and a ditch on the uphill side. The dyke is 50m long with aditch 4m wide and 0.5m deep, the bank is 6m wide and 0.7m high. At each end the bank fades out above a steep slope. The earthwork remains of this dyke were mapped from historical RAF photographs as part of the English Heritage: South Downs NMP project.
