The remains of 2 adjacent Bronze Age round cairns located on Beeley Moor. Both cairns comprise mounds of stones and turf. The smaller cairn forms a circular mound of approximately 3 metres in diameter. The second cairn lies around 30 metres north and is larger but low, with a flat top. A ring of upright boulders forms a kerb around the mound. The larger cairn is believed to be funerary in function. The smaller could be associated with prehistoric agricultural clearance, but its proximity to the other mound suggests that a funerary function is more likely. Scheduled.
