A late prehistoric enclosed settlement in woodland in Notton Park. The enclosure is ovoid in shape with slightly angular northern and southern ends. It has a ditch with both an inner and outer bank. The ditch is typically 7 metres wide and 0.5 metres deep. The inner bank is most substantial on the south east side, where it is 6 metres wide and up to 1 metre high; elsewhere it is mainly present as a break of slope. The outer bank is a substantial feature on all but the south east side; it has a maximum width of 6 metres and a maximum height of 0.8 metres. There is a break in the bank and ditch on the south east side which may be an original entrance. Scheduled.
