A series of earthworks to the north of folly known as Twizel Castle (NT 84 SE 11) dating to the second half of the 18th century. The earthworks comprise terraces, banks, hollows and mounds which are interpreted as the remains of a garden. Amongst these features at the east and west are probable house platforms from a medieval village.
