A Second World War pillbox or machine gun emplacement located adjacent to the martello tower at Frenchman's Beach holiday village, Rye Harbour Road, Rye. The structure was constructed in 1940-41 and built of reinforced concrete. A field visit in 2000 found the structure in good condition.
