Most scheduled monuments are not occupied buildings and have no postal address or postcode of their own. In rural and coastal areas, the nearest geocodable postal address may be several miles away.
Two Bronze Age round barrows are visible as earthworks on air photographs located on Scawton Moor. Still visible as earthworks, although one has been ploughed down. The second barrow shows part of an encircling ditch and its steep outer edges suggest stone kerbing buried beneath the turf. A bank has been constructed on its western side. The features are extant on the latest 2009 vertical photography. Scheduled.
