Celtic field system on Walls Hill dating from Late Bronze Age to Early Iron Age surviving as a series of earthwork banks containing a number of cairns several of which were excavated by MacEnery in the early 19th century although only one contained significant finds. The mounds are in poor condition and up to 0.3 metres high by 7.0 to 11.0 metres in diameter. The banks are best defined on the south side where they susrvive to a height of up to 0.3 metres to 4 metres adn 4 to 5 metres in width. The field system was the subject of a rapid examination of aerial photography in 1995. Scheduled.
