The remains of a homestead moat situated to the south-east of The Hall on a north facing slope. It formerly measured 88.0m southwest to northeast by 108.0m transversely with arms averaging 16.0m wide. The south angle has been cut 3.2m deep into the sloping ground, but to the north-east the ditch fades out into marshy ground. The north-west angle has been destroyed by dumping and the interior landscaped. No trace of a building was found within the enclosure. The east side of the moat is filled by surface drainage with an outlet from the south-east angle. A fishpond lying further to the east alongside the river is post 1842. Scheduled.
