Most scheduled monuments are not occupied buildings and have no postal address or postcode of their own. In rural and coastal areas, the nearest geocodable postal address may be several miles away.

Four Bronze Age round barrows situated on a rounded highpoint at Bickleigh Brake. They form part of a linear barrow group; three of the four are regularly ploughed and are now barely recognisable. The fourth, 1.9m high and covered in vegetation, has an off-centre excavation pit and an associated upcast mound on its top; remnants of a silted ditch survive around much of its perimeter.
