Most scheduled monuments are not occupied buildings and have no postal address or postcode of their own. In rural and coastal areas, the nearest geocodable postal address may be several miles away.

Earthwork remains of a medieval moated site. An inner bank runs around three sides of the moated island and there is a single outer bank on the south east side and a double outer bank to the north west. The island is currently accessed via the northern corner but traces of a possible causeway are visible at the western corner, suggesting a second entrance. Faint earthworks represent the remains of buildings on the moated island. A short distance to the south east is a building platform containing the foundations of a two-roomed structure.
