An Iron Age defended settlement situated in Dunterue Wood, 570 metres south of Castle Head. The monument survives as a semicircular bank and ditch , which peters out to the south. The bank is up to 4 metres wide and 2 metres high, whilst the outer ditch is up to 5 metres wide and 1 metre deep. The partially enclosed area measures up to 100 metres long from south west to north east by 55 metres wide from north west to south east. A later forest track cuts across the enclosure. The monument may represent an unfinished enclosure. A promontary fort, 570 metres to the north, and another enclosure 500 metres to the north west may be associated with this monument. Scheduled.
