Two bowl barrows on South Down. The western barrow mound measures 16 metres in diameter and stands 1.6 metres high, with a central hollow indicating past excavation. The eastern barrow has a mound 16 metres in diameter and 1.7 metres high, damaged on the south eastern side by past excavation. Each barrow is surrounded by a quarry ditch, visible as roughly 3 metre wide depressions. The barrows lay within a prehistoric field system which is now visible only on aerial photographs.
