Most scheduled monuments are not occupied buildings and have no postal address or postcode of their own. In rural and coastal areas, the nearest geocodable postal address may be several miles away.
A Bronze Age round cairn situated on the top of a north east facing slope overlooking the head of Troutsdale, on the central plateau of the Tabular Hills. The cairn has a stoney mound up to 1 metre high. The diameter of the mound has been altered by forestry ploughing and it now has a maximum diameter of 16 metres. Partial excavation in the past has left a hollow at the centre of the mound. The area is surrounded by trees, some are planted on it and it is covered with heather. Scheduled.
