The remains of an Iron Age or Roman round are indicated by faint traces of bank. It is believed to stand on the alleged site of a settlement, mentioned in a will of 1447. The feature measure some 90 metres by 60 metres on a south-facing slope and is much ploughed down. Its southern half is traceable as a 1 metre high slope and to the north are traces of slight scarping.
