A beam engine house at Nancegollen Mine, built during the mid 1860s for a 40-inch pumping engine which was advertised for sale in 1873. The building is of granite rubble and brick and has a rectangular single-cell plan. The chimney is detached and was constructed during the early-mid 19th century and heightened during the 1860s. It is round on plan, both stages tapered and built of granite rubble with a roll moulded dressed granite collar and brick upper stages.
