A milestone of circa 1895 which is constructed of a dressed stone slab which has a pent top rising to a shallow point. Its stone surface contains traces of white paint. The milestone is freestanding and is located on the east side of the road, just south of the Bradworthy turn. Its incised lettering, painted black, reads BIDEFORD / 16 / BUDE 9 / STRATTON / 7.
