A Romano-British mausoleum or temple identified during excavations at Abbey Mead, Witchampton. The building was circular in plan with an annexe. Inhumations and possible kiln or oven were also located. The building has been listed as a possible villa and temple site by Scott. The excavation was identified a Medieval building which was possibly part of the Old Manor complex (ST 90 NE 8). Finds including 11th century chessmen and pottery were recovered.
