The nearest postcode is an aid to location, and does not necessarily reflect the actual address of the monument. Most scheduled monuments are not occupied buildings and have no postal address or postcode of their own. In rural and coastal areas, the nearest geocodable postal address may be several miles away.
A near-circular enclosure with an apparently featureless interior of which measures 46.0m in diameter. It is formed by a largely turf covered bank of medium and small size stones. There is no clearly defined entrance but in the north west there is a 1.0m wide gap where the bank is barely 0.3m high and a similar one, 2.0m wide, in the north east. The structure is suggestive of a pound rather than a domestic or agricultural enclosure.
