Most scheduled monuments are not occupied buildings and have no postal address or postcode of their own. In rural and coastal areas, the nearest geocodable postal address may be several miles away.
A circular earthwork monument comprising a shallow ditch enclosing an area circa 25 metres in diameter. A broad, shallow hollow way runs north from a causeway on the northern side of the ditch for a distance of about 200 feet, at which point it is crossed by a more substantial earthen bank running northwest-southeast. Excavation in 1957 found no dating evidence for the circular enclosure, although it was shown that the enclosing ditch was originally continuoous, and that the causeway and hollow way were later features. Suggested interpretations for the enclosure include henge and platform barrow, although it could be much more recent.
