The nearest postcode is an aid to location, and does not necessarily reflect the actual address of the monument. Most scheduled monuments are not occupied buildings and have no postal address or postcode of their own. In rural and coastal areas, the nearest geocodable postal address may be several miles away.
A Post Medieval avenue is visible on aerial photographs as earthworks. The avenue is defined by a pair of narrow parallel linear ditches in alignment with a section of broader ditch. The avenue extends for a total length of 170 metres, and measures 4 metres wide. The avenue is oriented NNW-SSE, and is aligned on Barrington House at one end, and the centre of the park at the other. This site has been mapped as part of the Cotswold Hills National Mapping Programme.
