Notes

A small Romano British settlement dating from the 2nd to the 4th century and inhumations were found. Earthworks probably represent Medieval pillow mounds within an enclosure. The Medieval linear earthwork banks, interpreted as possible pillow mounds, were mapped from aerial photographs taken in 1946, 1955 and 1969. The features were still visible in 1990.
