Early Saxon cremation and inhumation cemetery recorded at Worthy Park, Kings Worthy. The cemetery comprises 94 inhumations and 46 cremations. The majority of the inhumations were accompanied by grave goods which included beads, brooches, buckles, knives, latchlifters, pursemounts, rings, shield bosses, spearheads and tweezers. Wood stains indicating traces of either coffins or wooden lining were recorded in eight of the graves. All the cremations were placed in urns. A number also had grave goods including miniature toilet implements.
