Earthwork remains of a ringwork in Camp Wood. The mound is 41 yards in diameter at the base and 17 feet in height. it has a continuous rampart except on the west side, and is surrounded except towards the end of the spur, by a ditch 10 feet deep. The castle was founded by Hugh Mortimer circa 1144 to 1154 AD. Scheduled.
