Motte and two baileys with the foundations of a curtain wall and a 13th century tower. The castle was probably abandoned by 1460, although one tower was used as a prison in 1561. The motte rises 16 metres above outside ground level and 9 metres from the bailey. The inner bailey has an internal diameter of 60 metres north to south by 30 metres east to west. The outer bailey measures 90 metres across north west to south east by 75 metres transversely. The inner rampart was crowned by a curtain wall, a fragment of which survives. Scheduled.
