Most scheduled monuments are not occupied buildings and have no postal address or postcode of their own. In rural and coastal areas, the nearest geocodable postal address may be several miles away.
A possible Iron Age/Roman settlement is visible as an earthwork on air photographs. This feature is situated on the south-west slope of a hill, just 5 metres below the actual summit. It consists of an outer rampart and an inner platform. The former is only visible on the north and west sides (which measure 49 metres and 84 metres respectively). It is 9.5 metres wide. The platform measures 64 metres long by 49 metres wide.
